How to choose a protein powder
Whey or beef? Whey protein is made from milk. Beef protein isolate is made from beef and contains no dairy, so people who avoid milk often ask about it. Check the label either way if you have an allergy or intolerance.
Concentrate or isolate? Isolates are filtered further than concentrates, so they usually contain less lactose. The label tells you which one you are buying.
Compare per serving. Look at the grams of protein in one serving and how many servings are in the tub, then divide the price by the servings. A cheaper tub is not always cheaper per serving.
Flavour matters. The best protein is the one you will actually drink. Ask us about flavours and we’ll tell you what people come back for.
Mass gainers are a different product from protein powder, with more calories per serving. We stock them too.

What is the difference between whey protein and beef protein?
Whey is made from milk and beef protein isolate is made from beef. Beef protein contains no dairy. Both are sold as powders, and flavours differ between brands. Read the label for ingredients and allergens.
Do you sell mass gainers?
Yes, we stock mass gainers such as MEX Size Max in strawberry. Ask in the shop or call to check what is available.
How do I compare two tubs?
Work out the price per serving: divide the price by the number of servings in the tub, and compare the grams of protein in each serving. We are happy to do the maths with you in the shop.
